However in the advent of popular disk brakes on bicycles, the gadget became obsolete.
(Also lately, the old fashioned rear rack interferes with disk brake calipers.) Now Burley calls the old one Classic, and new one Standard.
For a few days I've been struggling to obtain the new parts; Amazon didn't want to send it outside of US. Burley didn't want to deal directly. At least they gave me their dealer list. There are no stores in Metro Vancouver, and the closest one in Fort Langley. There I located a hitch, but not a flexible kit. I had an inkling that I could manage just with the hitch, using my old flexible.
I was eager and rode Ninja.

Definitely this design is simpler and versatile.
