Ice on Wings
2005年 12月 12日
These days, even if the weather is reasonable to fly, the airplane may not be.
This morning I saw ice cover on the wing. Luckily, the right wing had been thawed by the sunshine. But the left side was in its own shade.
First of all, using the tow bar I turned 90 degrees to the south so that both wings would get the benefit of the rare sun.
15, 20 minutes later, ice was softened and I could wipe it off the wing. The airplane became airworthy. Lucky day! And Chilliwack Lunch Day again!
