Point of Rocks. This is also my commando campsite, one of the closest from my home. To get there the route is 99% trail, so Leo can run with me on bike with camping gear.

The main purpose of the trip was to check out the bike path from Maquabeak Park to Colony Farm, that was closed due to Port Mann construction.
I've found a detour which is not so much of help for commuting cyclists, but may be OK for tourists.

Move from Boundary Bay Airport to Home Base

How to move an airplane from one airport to another, all by yourself.
Muso method:
Ride a bike to A airport, and carry it in the plane to B, from where ride it home - totally independent!
CFGUS, ferried from Boundary Bay Airport to Pitt Meadows. Overhauled propeller, new governor and new brakes.

Unusually late cherry blossoms wlecome my revisit to the home base airport.

100th Visit to the Mouth of Still Creek

One of my favourite picnic locations.
In this northern country, the grass is not green yet.

This year, cheery blossoms are slow to come. So far, the best one .

I see many people walking along the trail around Burnaby Lake, although it is nippy.

GUS for Annual Inspection

Don at Lycomming O-360, 180 hp, Turbo charged.

This year is the 10th since the propeller and its governor (you see, constant speed prop) were last overhauled, maybe not governor.
The old, and probably the original OEM was said to be more expensive than a new parts. So obvious choice was a replacement.
Wow, the size looks almost half, and this work eliminates ever going engine oil seepage, I really hope!
